The introductory paragraph says:

"Non-binary gender (also called NB) describes any gender identity which does not fit the male and female binary spectrum. Those with non-binary genders can feel that they:"

It should say more precisely and concisely:

"Non-binary gender (also called NB) describes any gender identity which does not fit the man and woman binary. Those with non-binary genders can:"

I replace the phrase "male and female" with "man and woman" because we are talking about gender identity, not biological sex, because the links redirect to man and woman, not male and female, and because the phrase "man and woman" is more concise than "male and female". Note Wikipedia uses "masculine or feminine", not "man and woman". Getting this first sentence right is the most important thing this article can do.

I remove the word "spectrum" because some enby people do fall on the spectrum between man and woman, even if they don't fit the binary extremes. A binary can only hold two values. A spectrum spans the difference. A "binary spectrum" is oxymoronic.

I also remove the phrase "feel that they", which implies enby people might feel, but not truly be what they feel, which only serves to feed the transphobia apparent in some of the comments below the article.

I have other suggestions and nitpicks, and would like to improve this article if anyone is willing to help. I would do it myself were I able.

Thank you for your suggestion. I have changed the first paragraph based on your suggestion. Miiohau (talk) 21:03, 3 October 2020 (UTC)
